The Event

The FNV, the largest trade union of the Netherlands, is striking against the government's plans to drastically cut social security in order to finance the military and Defense sector.

There is a strike action for people working in the construction and housing sector, and the metal sector (@ the Savannahweg in Utrecht), but if you do not work in these sectors or are not a union member you can still join their action to show solidarity.

There are regional strikes all over the country, with Utrecht striking on 10 September. You can register for the action through their website to stay updated on time, location etc.

You can also support the strikes by signing the statement of support and printing / sharing these flyers and promotional materials.
